How to make your environment conducive to your success

I think it is fair to say that, we have all been in a situation that impacts us negatively, and stunts growth in different aspect of us lives.

I mean isn't it funny how a situation in a relationship can easily spill over into your work or educational lives.

Sometimes the environment we find ourselves in, can be created by others and their attitudes, but other times, maybe the environment is just not supportive of where you are trying to go.

Often the removal of negativity can leave, a situation sour, but you have to ask yourself whether you'd prefer the sour environment or you would prefer the hate, I know which one id choose.

Below are three tips to spotting negativity and ways on cancelling that negativity out and ultimately making your environment conducive to your own success.

1. Spotting the negativity is the first step. identifying that there is a problem that can be fixed is the first stage of understanding change.

look out for those who always have something negative to say about your progression and downfall. have you heard "dont do that now" or "forget that assignment you need to hand in, lets go out!". the sad truth is that a lot of us do not create spaces for ourselves or others to grow.

2. Personally. i believe that dressing a negative person or situation, is the best way to keep someone who you may think is being negative, but may not be doing it to hurt your environment, and a way to get rid of those dampening your smile.

Let them know that their behaviour is damaging the way you function, or even something as simple as talking to them what your going through, so that they know not to push certain buttons.

Now, not everyone's intentions are good, so it is essential to evaluate who you are dealing with first before you act.

3. Once you have identified the dead weight, its now time to literally throw them in the trash. Keep them as far away from you as possible because these people will forever drain your inner power. I didn't know these things before but i do now and it would be selfish of me not to share this with you.

Step out of the environment and do what is best for you, is my best advice.
