To kick off Blogmas here is a post that everyone can benefit from.

Microsoft office is a programme everyone will need to use at some point in their lives. Microsoft office includes popular programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and the most interesting if i do say so myself is PowerPoint.

Below are 5 tips that i have come up with, on creating a powerful power point presentation.

Step 1

The best way to learn how to use a program efficiently is to go through it by yourself. familiarise yourself with all the functions of the program, and believe me there are a lot.

Step 2

once navigating through the program becomes easier, the next step would be to choose a template for your power point. You can fill the page with pictures or add text depending on the contents of your presentation.

Step 3

In order to create a powerful presentation, it is vital to have writing that is bold. Bold writing draws in attention from your readers and also helps to highlight significant segments of your presentation.

Step 4

The use of bullet points in a power point helps to minimise the amount of information on one page, this allows your presentation to look presentable and organised. The idea of a power point is to present the information, so this gives you a chance to minimise the content on the page and maximise what you actually present.

Step 5

Lastly, including animation and pictures helps to bring your power point to life. the popular saying goes " a picture is worth a thousand words" and in my experience this is true. Pictures allow your readers to retain information that they might not have done without the pictures.

By implementing these starter steps, you will be on your way to becoming a power point master.
